Bottle Beach Viewpoint

Probably the most beautiful viewpoint on Koh Phangan is located in the north of the island. The Phasawan Viewpoint (more commonly known as Bottle Beach Viewpoint, as it is located above the beach of the same name Bottle Beach offers you a fantastic view of the north coast.

We recommend the Arrival with the Scooter, as the roads are only partially developed. You can easily continue on uneven country roads by scooter. The best way to navigate is to use Google Maps. You can park the scooter at the side of the path before continuing on foot up a path through the jungle. The walk takes around 20 minutes and is a steep ascent, initially through meadows and forests and later over larger rocks and dense branches that keep pushing their way into your path. Sturdy shoes is therefore essential, even if we have seen visitors wearing flip-flops, we really can't recommend it ...

Once you reach the top, the stony terrain turns into a gigantic rocky landscape. One last time climbing (although No fear of heights is an advantage) and you reach the breathtaking viewpoint! The foremost rock has become a popular viewpoint and photo spot that requires some courage and climbing skills, but will make you forget all your efforts once you reach your destination and reward you with a wonderful view rewarded! From here you have a fantastic view over the north coast of Koh Phangan, which is particularly beautiful at Sunset leaves a lasting memory.

Tip:In the early morning, you can first master the strenuous part (climbing to the viewpoint) and then end the day on the beach - either on foot or with a shuttle for 200 baht per person. At sunset, the reverse order is recommended so as not to miss the golden hour at the top!

Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach | Places of interest on Koh Phangan
Thong Nai Pan Beach
Thong Nai Pan Beach consists of two sister bays and is located on the east coast of Koh Phangan. The southern Pan Yai Beach is one of our favorite beaches on the island! Shallow water, fine long sandy beach and turquoise shallow sea. The place is far away from the hustle and bustle of the city and also offers a few beach bars and shady spots. You can go swimming, kayaking or jet skiing on site. The upper bay of Pan Noi is a little livelier, especially in high season. However, both places have their very own charm.
