The most beautiful beaches in Thailand

We take you to the most beautiful beaches in Thailand! There are countless islands, hidden bays and white sandy beaches in southern Thailand. Some are very hidden on a steep slope and can only be reached by an off-road shuttle (e.g. Paradise Beach or Nui Beach on Phuket - even the way to the beach is a real adventure here!) For families with children, spacious, gently sloping beaches such as the Karon Beach. But it's not just Phuket that offers beautiful beaches; you'll also find hidden gems and secluded beach paradises on other islands and on the mainland. Our absolute favorite beaches include Taling Ngam Beach on Koh Samui and Taa Toh Lagoon Beach on Koh Tao!

Ao Nang

Ao Nang (Beach)

Ao Nang is one of the most popular beach resorts in Thailand! Geographically, it is located in the province of Krabi, east of the Andaman Sea. Once known as a small fishing village, which lived mainly from the local fishing industry, it became increasingly characterized by tourism from the 1970s onwards. When the first resorts were built, Ao Nang developed into a top vacation destination in southern Thailand and is still a popular choice among travelers....
Maya Bay

Maya Bay

The beautiful Maya Bay is located on the island of Koh Phi Phi Leh in the Andaman Sea and can only be reached by boat. From the main island of Koh Phi Phi Don, the crossing takes around 30 minutes and leads past impressive limestone cliffs across the turquoise blue sea until a picturesque open bay finally appears. At the turn of the millennium, this place became famous worldwide when the film „The Beach“ starring Leonardo DiCaprio was released in 2000....
Koh Similan

Koh Similan

Koh Similan is a true paradise for divers and snorkelers! If you are planning a trip to Phuket or Khao Lak, then you should definitely not miss this place. The beautiful Similan Islands are located in the Mu Ko Similan National Park of the same name in the western Andaman Sea. A day tour costs between 60 and 90 euros per person. There is also a fee of 500 baht (≈ 13 euros) per person for entry to the national park....
I-Talay

I-Talay (Taling Ngam Beach)

On the west coast of Koh Samui, there is an almost untouched stretch of beach and a real insider tip: I-Talay. We discovered this special place by chance on a scooter and have to admit that we think it is the most beautiful beach on the entire island so far! Behind "I-Talay" is actually a beach bar with a lovingly decorated garden in which eye-catching, recycled works of art are on display. The bar is located in the bay of Ao Taling Ngam, a rather unknown place...
Sairee Beach

Sairee Beach

Sairee Beach is the most famous and, at 1.7 km, the longest beach on Koh Tao's west coast. Along the promenade is the tourist center of the island with a walking street full of stores, pubs and restaurants. It can get loud and hectic here, especially in the evening. During the day, the town offers the perfect beach day: Long walks through the white sand, shady palm trees and crystal-clear water create a relaxed atmosphere. Even on the beach...
Koh Nang Yuan

Koh Nang Yuan

To the north of Koh Tao is a small group of islands connected by a sandbank. Koh Nang Yuan is a must-visit for all travelers and is a real postcard motif! Pure nature, mountainous terrain and crystal-clear water. You can only get to this place by boat - either by cab boat (from Sairee Beach, approx. 300 THB p.p. for a return trip) or on a guided day tour, e.g. from Koh Phanganª or Koh Samuiª. As the...
Paradise Beach

Paradise Beach (Phuket)

The beautiful Paradise Beach is located very close to Patong. Its name is justified, as the beach shines with fine, white sand and crystal-clear water. As it is a private beach, there is an entrance fee (200 THB p.p.), but in our experience it is worth every penny. We really can't understand the many negative reviews, as we were totally enchanted by this place. The best thing to do is to see for yourself and plan a day at the...
Freedom Beach Phuket

Freedom Beach (Phuket)

Freedom Beach is one of the most beautiful and quietest private beaches on Phuket, very close to Patong. Due to its seclusion and adventurous route, the beach is particularly popular with young vacationers. You can either take the shuttle to the beach (cost: 300 THB p.p.; note: the path is quite steep and uneven, making the ride very action-packed) or you can pay 100 THB entrance fee and take the hike through the dense jungle yourself...
Naiyang Beach

Naiyang Beach

Naiyang Beach is a quiet beach in the north of Phuket & a real insider tip for anyone looking for relaxation, nature and authentic island flair. Despite its proximity to the airport (only 5-10 minutes by car), the place is surprisingly relaxed and not very crowded. The wide, fine sandy beach offers plenty of shady spots and a shallow transition into the turquoise sea. To the north, the beach borders the Sirinat National Park, which offers an equally idyllic atmosphere for...
Kata Noi Beach

Kata Noi Beach

Kata Noi Beach is a small sister bay to the south of Kata Beach of the same name and one of our favorite beaches on Phuket. Especially in the low season, this place is a real dream: turquoise, shallow sea, fine sandy beach and shady palm trees. Impressive bungalows and pool villas have been built on the hillside, blending in perfectly with the beach scenery. There is free parking on site, restaurants and water sports activities such as jet skiing and parasailing....
Karon Beach

Karon Beach

At over 3 kilometers, Karon Beach is one of the longest and widest beaches on Phuket. It is particularly popular with families, as the shallow water slopes gently and is therefore ideal for children to splash around in. There are many sun loungers on the fine sandy beach, which can be rented for a fee. Alternatively, there are also green areas with shady trees where you can relax and read a book all day long. In contrast to Patong, Karon is a little...
Nui Beach

Nui Beach (Phuket)

A hidden bay in the south of Phuket that you should definitely visit: Nui Beach. The entrance fee is 300 THB per person and includes transportation to and from the beach. We recommend using the shuttles and not driving down on your own on a scooter, as the road is really steep, uneven and winding! There is plenty to discover in the bay, including a swing, lovingly decorated photo spots, a bar & a restaurant. Further up...
