Journey to Pai


The small town of Pai in the north of Thailand is only by land accessible. There is no train or flight connection. The quickest and easiest way would therefore be to take a direct flight from Bangkok to Chiang Mai and from there continue by minivan to Pai. Buses and minivans run daily from the "Arcade Bus Terminal" in Chiang Mai to Pai in around 3-4 hours - you can also book these spontaneously on the spot. If you're feeling adventurous, you can also drive the route along the winding Highway 1095 by rental car, scooter or motorcycle.
