Journey to Khao Sok


The natural paradise of Khao Sok is located 150 km north of Phuket and can be reached in around 2-3 hours by car. The nearest town is Khao Lak, from where it only takes an hour to reach the national park. The place is also easily accessible from Krabi within 2 hours. The cheapest way to get there is by bus (from Phuketª or from Bangkokª); there is no train connection. However, as the roads in Thailand are generally well developed, it is worth renting a car to explore the area at your own pace. Alternatively, Khao Sok can also be visited as part of a day tour (e.g. from Phuketª, Khao Lakª or Krabiª), with hotel transfers included. There is usually only an additional fee for the national park.

Khao Sok is a unique national park in the province Surat Thani in southern Thailand.
