Koh Lipe is a natural paradise in southern Thailand, around 50 kilometers from the Malaysian border and can only be reached by boat. Most visitors come from Koh Lanta and reach the island in around 3 hours. Other possible starting points are Koh Phi Phi or Langkawi (Malaysia). The nearest airport is located in Hat Yai.
