These recommendations are based on our personal experiences over the last few years. Use our list as a starting point and add to it according to your individual needs. We hope it will help you with your planning. Very important are sun protection, insect repellent, light and breathable clothing but also culturally appropriate clothing.

  1L bag: e.g. for small hygiene products such as deodorant or disinfectant gel
  Other items: (wireless) headphones, earplugs, sleeping mask, tissues, glasses case, chewing gum, small hairbrush, hand mirror, FFP2 masks (depending on the current situation), hand cream, reading glasses, glasses case

Personal documents:

  Passport and/or identity card
  Wallet incl. cash, credit cards for abroad, insurance card (health insurance), driver's license (inter- / national), emergency contacts, phone numbers for card blocking
  Flight confirmations, hotel bookings, vaccination certificates, international health insurance policy (tip: also save on your smartphone & in the cloud)
  Passport photos - if you want to apply for or extend a visa on site
  Waterproof document cover
  A little change before arrival can't hurt

    • Powerbanks MUST be carried in hand baggage. They are not permitted in checked baggage/suitcases.

      Of course, this list is only a rough recommendation, not a must. It should be adapted to your personal needs and also depends on whether you are traveling in a more minimalist way or would pack even more. If you're traveling with children, there's bound to be a lot more, but you probably know that best yourself. 😊 We hope we were still able to give you a few packing tips and make your travel planning a little easier.
