What draws us to faraway places?

The idea of traveling to Thailand wasn't that long ago. In 2022, in the middle of the Corona period, a few friends suggested a 3-week vacation in Thailand, whereupon we spontaneously agreed. On the one hand, probably out of boredom in monotonous Germany, but also out of curiosity and interest in such a distant culture. The decision to travel to Thailand was probably one of the best ever! We experienced wonderful impressions and got to know people we thought didn't exist. The Thais are an incredibly friendly, selfless people who we have taken straight to our hearts. For three years in a row now, we have discovered many more magical places in Thailand and found hidden treasures that we would like to share with you. The feeling of standing at a surreal viewpoint and realizing how beautiful our world actually is is indescribable! That's why we created this project to tell you about our experiences & share this magic with you. We hope that your trip to Thailand will be just as fulfilling as ours and we can tell you one thing for sure: once you've been to Thailand, it certainly won't be the last time!

Traveling is sometimes exhausting

We were very lucky to be able to pursue our passion for travel as a part-time job, as we were able to do our jobs from anywhere. This gave us the opportunity to get to know a wide variety of places, people and cultures. In addition to Thailand, we also explored several other Asian countries such as Indonesia, Singapore, South Korea and Hong Kong - all of which enchanted us in their own unique way. But Thailand has completely captivated us, which is why we keep coming back and why an initial side project one day became our main project. However, traveling to many countries in succession can also be exhausting. In around 9 months of remote work, we really spent a lot of time planning trips, researching, booking and developing ideas for our own project (= this website). On top of that, there were professional projects, meetings, jet lag, acclimatization and unexpected health problems. So traveling doesn't just mean discovering beautiful places & making sure everything always goes perfectly according to plan; it also means overcoming unplanned hurdles, having a bad day and coordinating your moods so that the next day brings sunshine again. Above all, physical health is very important for your own well-being when traveling. A slight feeling of illness can quickly turn into negative thoughts and homesickness - so it's important to rebuild each other at times like this (even if it means putting up with the other person). Today we can smile about it & can tell you that all these experiences have brought us together the most!
